A complete cook stove that packs into a half-gallon can. No propane, no canisters, no assembly. Drop in a fuel cell, light it, set the rings, and cook. Water boils in about five minutes, and the four included fuel cells give you four to five hours of cooking.

Built for weather. The can doubles as a wind screen and burn chamber, so it keeps cooking in wind, rain and sub-freezing temperatures. The fuel is water resistant and non-explosive, it does not leak or lose pressure, and it stores indefinitely, which is why these ended up in so many trucks, cabins, hunting camps and emergency kits.

Put the lid back on to put it out. Partly burned cells relight later, and everything repacks into the can, with the soot staying inside.

Safety

Why this is a closeout, and why it is priced this way

The manufacturer is out of business. There is no warranty, no manufacturer support and no resupply, and this is the last of the inventory. That is exactly why the pricing works the way it does, and why buying four or twelve costs so much less per stove: these are the final units of a product nobody is making any more, priced to move, in exchange for taking them as they are.

Every unit is sold as-is and final sale, with no returns or exchanges. Alpine Products' lifetime guarantee and 30-day return policy do not apply to this item. The stoves are new and unused in their original packaging. The terms reflect the fact that nobody stands behind the product any more, not the condition of what you receive.

When these are gone, the listing comes down.
