The case is tight-fitting and can quickly be taken off or put on, to secure your reel, and to ensure that you get to the water as soon as possible. Furthermore, the case helps keep your line intact when you are making your way to the water. Protecting your line, it prevents bushes and branches from snagging it.

Catered to fit your needs, this case is available in two sizes so that both your larger and smaller reels have their own pouch.
The two available sizes are:
- Medium size fits 2.5″ – 3.5″diameter spool with 1″-1.50″ arbor width.
- Large fits 3.5″- 4.5″ diameter spool with 1.25″-2.0″ arbor width
The neoprene has a thickness of 2mm to guarantee the protection of your reel when not in use.
The case does not only keep your reel safe and secure while it is stored, but it is also designed in such a way that you can use it while your reel is attached to the rod. Once taken off, the case can easily be folded into a small parcel for secure storage.

The Alpine Products’ neoprene reel cases are great. There are two sizes that are clearly described on the Alpine Products website; I think they were “Medium” and “Large”. The smaller case fit my Orvis Battenkill II and III click and pawl reels with just enough room to also wrap a 9’ 5wt rod handle. The larger size is probably requires for modern disc reels. Alpine Products’ website is easier to navigate than Amazon (which has very confusing product size descriptions). My photos actually show smaller case/pouch on a classic LL Bean “Double L” 7-8 wt click and pawl reel with 7wt rod.
